NCR was born in 1967, in via Signorini, Borgo Panigale, the suburb of Bologna.
The three founders, Rino Caracchi, Giorgio Nepoti and Rizzi, built an extraordinarily equipped work shop where they start to create racing motorbike based on Ducati models, realized so close to the manufacturer factory.
NCR racing team was been the first external Ducati's race division. In fact, in the 70', the factory that has won more than any other in the World SuperBiKe Championship it wasn't directly involved in competitions, so the engines and the chassis were usually committed to NCR, in order to be tuned, enlightened and assembled together, becoming a race motorbikes able to compete with all official teams in all European racetracks.
Da sempre il binomio Ducati-NCR è sinonimo di corse, eccellenza, tecnologia ed emozioni.
Oggi (con l’ingresso del Gruppo Poggipolini) come allora le moto, e le parti speciali NCR, vengono sviluppate, prodotte e assemblate a mano, modello su modello, numero su numero applicando la più avanzata tecnologia e la cura più attenta: solo in questo modo si raggiunge l’eccellenza, dove il “Dettaglio” è protagonista, in grado di trasmettere emozioni eterne!
